1. Promoter

2. Entry
2.1 Entry is free. No entry fee or consideration is necessary to enter or win this skill-based competition.
2.2 Each entrant may only submit one entry per category and one additional entry per Display Board (see 2.5 below) category. Additional entries will be discounted.
2.3 Entries must be received by GW during the store’s entry period. Each entry period will vary across stores. Please contact your local store for more details on when to enter your submission.
2.4 To enter, you must present your entry to the store manager. You must include: your full name; country and state/region of residence; and the category (or categories) you’re entering.
2.5 There will be 4 (four) major categories (‘Individual’; ‘Team’; ‘Display Board’ and ‘Youngbloods’) with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each major category.
2.5.1 Under 16s may enter:
a) Any ONE of Youngbloods (if submitted by a parent/guardian) or Team (if submitted by a team member over 16); plus
b) Display Board (if submitted by a parent/guardian).
2.5.2 Ages 16+ may enter:
a) Any ONE of: Individual or Team; plus
b) Display Board 2.5.3 For example: An under 16 may choose to enter Youngbloods and Display Board. 16+ may choose to enter Team and Display Board. Entering into Display Board is optional.
2.6 There will be approximately 5-10 Managers’’ choices, and 4 Best Newcomer awards, chosen across all of the available categories.
2.7 GW accepts no responsibility for any entries damaged during the course of transportation to and from the Warhamnmer store or whilst being displayed in the Warhammer store.
2.8 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, GW may, at its sole discretion, exclude you from participating in the competition.
2.9 GW reserves the right to vary any of these Terms and Conditions, postpone or cancel the competition at any time without notice. In such an event, GW will make reasonable efforts to communicate any change to entrants.
3. Eligibility
3.1 The competition is open to persons of age 12 years and over. Entries from persons under 16 years of age must be submitted by a parent or guardian on behalf of the entrant.
3.2 GW members of staff are not eligible to enter the competition..
3.3 The competition is open to residents worldwide, excluding Russia and Belarus.
3.4 GW will only accept competition entries that conform to the following rules:
3.4.1. Painted miniatures must exclusively consist of Citadel and/or Forge World products;
3.4.2. The display must fit within a board with base dimensions of 2’ x 2’ (61cm x 61cm) or 22 x 30 inches (76cm x 56cm);
3.4.3. the army must not mix GW settings;
3.4.4. any miniature customisation must exclusively comprise Warhammer bits or parts only; and
3.4.5. entries must have been wholly painted by you, or in the case of the Team category, by the people in your team.
3.5 A board, if used, can be made of any appropriate material, provided that what is displayed on top comprises strictly Warhammer products or scratch built scenery.
3.6 GW will accept entries which are mounted on a presentational plinth, subject to adhering to the dimensions stipulated in clause 3.4.2.
3.7 There is a limit of one entry per person per category. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted (subject to clause 3.1) and joint submissions are not allowed (except for in the “Best of Team” category).
3.8 GW reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit of intention of the competition.

4. Judging
4.1 All valid entries will be reviewed and judged by a customer voting system. Managers’ choices and Best Newcomer awards will be judged using the following criteria: cohesiveness of display theme; originality and creativity; conversion skill; and painting finesse and these 2 (two) awards will be decided by the store manager.
4.2 For every store, there will be 12 winners in total across the 4 major categories (comprising 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each).
4.3 There will be up to 10 Managers' choices and 4 Best Newcomer awards chosen from across the 4 major categories. Managers’ choices will be selected for displaying outstanding qualities from any of the judging criteria.
4.4 Decisions of the judges shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received, and the number of votes each entry receives through the customer voting system. The odds of winning a Managers’ choice or Best Newcomer award depend on the number of eligible entries received, the quality of the entries and each entrant’s ability to provide the winning criteria stated in clause 4.1.
5. Prize Details
5.1 Major category winners will receive:
5.1.1. one (1) gold medal; or one (1) silver medal; or one (1) bronze medal.
5.2 Managers’ choices’ and Best Newcomer awards will receive:
5.2.1. one (1) certificate.
5.3 Each entry will receive one (1) participation pin. 5.4 Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
5.5 Prizes are subject to availability and will need to be collected by the winner from the store.
5.6 GW does not accept any responsibility if you are unable to take up the prize.
6. Notification
6.1 Winners will be announced in-store throughout September. Exact dates will vary from store to store. Please contact your local Warhammer store for more details.
6.2 Entrants agree that GW can use their name and place of residence (in the format of Joe Bloggs from Birmingham, England) for advertising and promotional purposes and for the purposes of fulfilling legal obligations. If you do not wish your name and/or place of residence to be published or made available, or you wish to reduce the amount of information published or made available, please inform the store manager at the time you submit your entry.
6.3 Clause 6.2 will not apply to entrants from Germany. Specific consent will be sought from entrants from Germany to display this information, and the information will only be displayed publicly where the express consent has been provided by the Entrant. When you submit your entry, you can choose to provide your express consent for GW to publish your information in line with clause 6.2.
6.4 Where any prizes are unclaimed on the day, the opportunity to win these prizes will be lost and the competition will be finished.
7. Ownership of Competition Entries and Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 GW does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry.
7.2 You agree that GW may, but is not required to, make your entry available on any of its websites and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant GW a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry and any accompanying materials, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry and any accompanying materials for such purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Insofar as permitted by law, GW, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss or damage, occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of GW, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Jurisdiction
9.1 These rules are governed by the laws of England and any dispute relating to the promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Entry indicates acceptance of the rules as final and legally binding. Where local law specifies application of particular laws in a jurisdiction, then these will apply over clause 9.1.
9.2 This promotion is void where prohibited by law.
10. Data Protection
10.1. Any personal data provided to us in connection with this competition will be held and processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice. We may also use that data for administration of, and communication in connection with, this competition. By submitting your personal information in connection with this competition you consent to the processing of your personal data as set out above and you confirm that the information is accurate and complete.
