2 Eligibility

2.1 You must be 18 years of age or older to enter the competition.

2.2 The competition is open to residents worldwide, excluding Ireland, Italy, Japan, Russia, Belarus and China and the US states of Rhode Island, New York and Florida. This competition is void where prohibited by law.

2.3 Entries from trade accounts or employees of any of the Games Workshop group of companies, their families, agents or any other person connected with the administration of the competition will not be considered. 3 The Competition

3.2 Entry is free and open to all those who meet GW’s eligibility requirements and who satisfy the requirements detailed below. This promotion starts on 3rd November 2023.

3.3 There will be 41 winners in total. A number of winners will be drawn each week from 3rd November to 28th November (inclusive) as set out in the Draw Details in the Appendix to these terms (which sets out the prizes available and which days they will be drawn as prizes).

4 How to Enter

4.1 Competition Questions:

4.1.1 Each Friday starting 3rd November 2023 and continuing for 3 weeks, we'll send to all customers who have a MyWarhammer account and are subscribed to a GW newsletter (“Eligible Customers”) an email where they have to answer a question relating to the current Christmas campaign. Clues will be contained in a video on the Friday of each Qualifying Period 1-4 (see below). Using the clues in each video, the customer must select and submit the correct answer from the landing page accessed via the email that was sent to them (“Correct Answer”).

4.2 How to enter Prize Draw 1:

4.2.1 To enter, have a MyWarhammer account, be subscribed to a GW newsletter and have submitted a Correct Answer during the promotion period between 13:00 (UK time) on 3rd November 2023 and 10:00 (UK time) on 9th November 2023 (“Qualifying Period 1”).

4.3.1 To enter, have a MyWarhammer account, be subscribed to a GW newsletter and have submitted a Correct Answer during the promotion period between 13:00 (UK time) on 10th November 2023 and 10:00 (UK time) on 16th November 2023 (“Qualifying Period 2”).

4.4 How to enter Prize Draw 3:

4.4.1 To enter, have a MyWarhammer account, be subscribed to a GW newsletter and have submitted a Correct Answer during the promotion period between 13:00 (UK time) on 17th November 2023 and 10:00 (UK time) on 23rd November 2023 (“Qualifying Period 3”).).

4.5 How to enter Prize Draw 4

4.5.1 To enter, have a MyWarhammer account, be subscribed to a GW newsletter during the promotion period and must have submitted a Correct Answer in each of Qualifying Periods 1-3, between 13:00 (UK time) on 3rd November 2023 and 10:00 (UK time) on 23rd November 2023 (“Qualifying Period 4”).

4.6 A MyWarhammer account is free to set up and the newsletters are free to subscribe to. Account holders will be entered into the prize draws on every week they submit a Correct Answer. Please note it may take up to 48 hours between sign up and being added to the mailing list.

4.7 Cancelling a subscription to either the MyWarhammer account or the newsletter before the end of the applicable Qualifying Period will result in being removed from the draw.

4.10 One entry only per person per draw. Each person may only set up a single MyWarhammer account. Entrants identified as having submitted multiple entries in contravention of these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.

4.11 GW is not responsible for any technical difficulties rendering a person unable to enter the competition.

5 The Prize Draw

5.1 There will be 4 prize draws, 1 for each Qualifying Period.

5.2 Please see the Appendix to these terms for details on the number of winners for each draw.

5.3 The prize draws will all take place at Games Workshop, Willow Road, Nottingham NG7 2WS at 10 a.m. (UK time) on each Thursday from 9th November to 28th November 2023. The draw will be made by computerised random selection. The chance of winning depends upon the number of entrants.

5.4 The Appendix of these terms sets out the Draw Details, identifying which prizes will be drawn on which days. Once a prize has been drawn it is no longer available to be won in subsequent draws.

5.5 The winner of Prize Draw 4 will receive a VIP trip to Warhammer World (see prize details below).

6 Prize Details

6.1 Each winner will receive a prize (specification details provided in the Appendix to these terms). The approximate retail value of the total prize pool is £11,560/$13,988 USD/$20,692 AUS/€13,294. This value excludes delivery and sales tax, where applicable.

6.2 Prizes are not transferable or negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered. Prizes cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.

6.3 Entrants are responsible for any applicable taxes and compliance with tax laws in the area of receipt the prize.

6.4 One of the prizes is a VIP trip to Warhammer World (Willow Road, Nottingham, England, NG7 2WS). The trip will be on a date of your choice, during Warhammer World’s normal business opening hours. Prize includes, for the winner and +1 person, entry to Warhammer World and the Exhibition Centre, accommodation in a standard room, reasonable travel expenses, including flights if necessary (standard or economy class) and a reasonable meal allowance set by GW to cover any meals on the trip which are not otherwise provided. Expenses outside those expressly set out above are not covered by GW. GW may offer to cover further expenses in its sole discretion. Winners must have a valid passport and be eligible for international travel at the time of the trip.

6.5 One of the prizes is a choice of either a Warhammer: 40,000 Combat Patrol box set, a Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Vanguard box set or a Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Start Collecting box set.

6.5.1 If the winner’s choice of box set is not available at the time of selection, they may either wait until it is in stock or choose an alternative Combat Patrol, Vanguard or Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Start Collecting box set.

6.6 One of the prizes is a randomly chosen Warhammer Joytoy figurine. These are chosen at random from the range specified in clauses 6.7.1 to 6.7.20 and are subject to availability.

7.1 The winners will be contacted within three (3) UK working days of their name being drawn. 

7.2 Winners will be contacted by email via the email address used to set up their MyWarhammer account.

7.3 Winners must claim their prize by responding to GW’s email and must provide their delivery address. Prizes will be dispatched by 16 th January 2024 via GW’s standard shipping processes once claimed. There is no shipping charge for the winners. If any prize has not been claimed by the end of 31 st January 2024 (UK time), then a redraw will be held for the remaining prize(s).

8 Redraw Process

8.1 A redraw, if applicable, will take place at Games Workshop, Willow Road, Nottingham NG7 2WS at 10 a.m. (UK time) on 6 th February 2024. The redraw will be made by computerised random selection.

8.2 The winner(s) of the redraw will be notified as stipulated under clauses 7.1 and 7.2. The winner(s) of the redraw must claim their prize before the end of 6th April 2024 (UK time). If any remaining prizes have not been claimed by this date, then the opportunity to win these prizes will be lost and the prize draw will be finished. 9 Publication

9.1 Entrants agree that GW can use their name and place of residence (in the format of initial-surname-country, e.g. J Bloggs from Nottingham, England) for advertising and promotional purposes and for the purposes of fulfilling legal obligations. If you do not wish your name and/or place of residence to be published or made available, or you wish to reduce the amount of information published or made available, please inform GW at the time you are notified you are a winner. Please note some local authorities require that we disclose a list of the winners to them as a legal requirement for running this sweepstake.

9.2 Details of the winners will be published weekly on https://www.warhammer-community.com throughout November and December 2023.

9.3 Details of the winners of any redraw under clause 8, if applicable, will be published on https://www.warhammer-community.com on or before the 10 th April 2024 (UK time).

10 General

10.1 GW reserves the right to vary any of these Terms and Conditions without notice, to the extent permissible by applicable laws. In such event GW will make reasonable efforts to communicate any change with entrants.

10.2 These rules are governed by the laws of England and any dispute relating to the promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Entry indicates acceptance of the rules as final and legally binding.

10.3 This sweepstakes is subject to applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

10.4 If any provision or part-provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of this agreement. 11 Data Protection

2.5 There will be 4 (four) major categories (‘Individual’; ‘Team’; ‘Display Board’ and ‘Youngbloods’) with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each major category.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The competition is open to persons of age 12 years and over. Entries from persons under 16 years of age must be submitted by a parent or guardian on behalf of the entrant.

3.2 GW members of staff are not eligible to enter the competition..

3.3 The competition is open to residents worldwide, excluding Russia and Belarus.

3.4 GW will only accept competition entries that conform to the following rules:

3.4.1. Painted miniatures must exclusively consist of Citadel and/or Forge World products;

3.4.2. The display must fit within a board with base dimensions of 2’ x 2’ (61cm x 61cm) or 22 x 30 inches (76cm x 56cm);

3.4.3. the army must not mix GW settings;

3.4.4. any miniature customisation must exclusively comprise Warhammer bits or parts only; and

3.4.5. entries must have been wholly painted by you, or in the case of the Team category, by the people in your team.

3.5 A board, if used, can be made of any appropriate material, provided that what is displayed on top comprises strictly Warhammer products or scratch built scenery.

3.6 GW will accept entries which are mounted on a presentational plinth, subject to adhering to the dimensions stipulated in clause 3.4.2.

3.7 There is a limit of one entry per person per category. Entries submitted on behalf of another person will not be accepted (subject to clause 3.1) and joint submissions are not allowed (except for in the “Best of Team” category).

3.8 GW reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit of intention of the competition.

4. Judging

4.1 All valid entries will be reviewed and judged by a customer voting system. Managers’ choices and Best Newcomer awards will be judged using the following criteria: cohesiveness of display theme; originality and creativity; conversion skill; and painting finesse and these 2 (two) awards will be decided by the store manager.

4.2 For every store, there will be 12 winners in total across the 4 major categories (comprising 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each).

4.3 There will be up to 10 Managers' choices and 4 Best Newcomer awards chosen from across the 4 major categories. Managers’ choices will be selected for displaying outstanding qualities from any of the judging criteria.

4.4 Decisions of the judges shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received, and the number of votes each entry receives through the customer voting system. The odds of winning a Managers’ choice or Best Newcomer award depend on the number of eligible entries received, the quality of the entries and each entrant’s ability to provide the winning criteria stated in clause 4.1.

5. Prize Details

5.1 Major category winners will receive:

5.1.1. one (1) gold medal; or one (1) silver medal; or one (1) bronze medal.

5.2 Managers’ choices’ and Best Newcomer awards will receive:

5.2.1. one (1) certificate.

6.4 Where any prizes are unclaimed on the day, the opportunity to win these prizes will be lost and the competition will be finished.
