Vargheists are vampires who have been deprived of the chance to feed, often as a punishment for transgressing against their own kind. They retain an instinctive deference towards the elders of their bloodline, but in battle, they become uncontrollable as soon as the scent of hot gore is in the air. They plummet from on high with bone-breaking force, smashing their prey to the ground and ripping them open with fangs and claws.
