Of the various winged horrors the Tyranids have yet unleashed upon the galaxy, none are as monstrously large or powerful as the Harridan. Borne on huge membranous wings, each tipped with a ruinous bio-cannon, they swoop through enemy lines like harbingers of doom, carving through troops and armour with their gargantuan scything talons. Foes who attempt to return fire face a shower of squirming fleshborers, for the Harridan plays host to whole broods of hissing Gargoyles – these winged swarms cling bat-like to the bio-titan's underbelly, borne across greater distances than their own wings
