The Blood Slaughterer was created as an attempt by the Traitor forces to supplement their armies with new tools of destruction. Believed by Imperial scholars to have been devised as a replacement for dreadnought losses incurred by the World Eaters Legion, they proved to be expert line breakers, imbued with a singular purpose – unrelenting carnage.
