The commander of the Fourth Great Company of the Space Wolves, Hvarl Red-Blade, has a reputation as a humourless and often short-tempered warrior whose battle-cunning is something of a legend. A veteran warlord renowned for his scourging tactics, Hvarl openly encourages the taking of heads from fallen foes as a form of competition among his warriors. Though considered volatile at best by his fellow officers, Hvarl’s striking insights into a foe’s plans and motives make his voice well-respected in the VI Legion’s war council.
