Ferrus Manus, primarch of the Iron Hands Legion, was a figure of legend among the people of his home world of Medusa, and was named by them ‘the Gorgon’ after the most ancient of mythic creatures. Ferrus is among the strongest of the primarchs and this fact is reflected in this massive stature, which dwarfs many of his brothers.
Ferrus Manus was blessed with physiology remarkable even among the primarchs. His arms are sheathed in liquid metal – the result, so the legends of his home world claim, of a battle fought against the mightiest of beasts on Medusa before he was reunited with
