Can I browse and make purchases for content in my own language?
eBooks are available in English, French or German. You can browse eBooks and eShorts in any of those languages by visiting your Account Settings within the App and switching your language preference. Audiobooks and Audiodramas are only available in English.
Can I purchase in my chosen currency?
Yes, this will be set to your native / device preferences
What can I purchase on the new app?
Black Library eBooks, audiobooks, eShorts and Audiodramas - essentially the Black Library webstore catalogue.
Will every Black Library title be available?
All of our existing Black Library eBooks, audiobooks, eShorts and Audiodramas catalogue will be available on the new Black Library App. It's a vast selection of thousands of titles, so you'll have plenty to enjoy.

Will I need to make a new account on the Black Library App?
You will have to be registered with a MyWarhammer account in order to purchase products in the app. Create a MyWarhammer Account here. If you have an existing Black Library Account, you can transfer past purchases by linking your Black Library and MyWarhammer accounts here.
What payment methods can I use?
Payment methods are specific to whether you are using an Apple or Android device. Please see the relevant support documents detailing which payment methods are available on each operating system:
Can I upload an ebook I've bought to the ereader I already have? (Kindle, Kobo, Apple iPad etc.)
No but the great thing about the new Black Library App is that it provides everything you need for exploring, reading and listening, all within the App. You can still purchase Black Library eBooks and Audiobooks through alternative vendors to use with your preferred eReader.
How do I download or access my purchase?
You can download purchases to your device within the app. Once downloaded, you can read and/or listen to your purchases from within the app without needing an internet connection.

What has happened to BlackLibrary.com?
BlackLibrary.com has moved to our new Black Library App, where you can buy, read and listen to our latest range of eBooks, audiobooks, eShorts and Audiodramas right at your fingertips. You will be able to browse and download past purchases on BlackLibrary.com until 31st August 2026.
What happens to my existing purchases from BlackLibrary.com?
You can transfer the majority of your past purchases from BlackLibrary.com to the new Black Library App by linking your Black Library Account with your MyWarhammer Account. Click here to link your accounts now. Please note that only current titles listed on BlackLibrary.com can be transferred to the new app, for any previous purchases that are no longer listed on BlackLibrary.com please download these before 31st August 2026. If you believe you have titles missing from your account within the Black Library App, please contact us.

The Black Library Audio App
What has happened to the Black Library Audio App?
The Black Library Audio App has moved to our new Black Library App, where you'll be able to find our latest range of Audiobooks and eBooks all in one place. The Audio App will be removed from App Stores but will remain available on your phone if you already have it downloaded. If you need to re-download the app after it has been removed from the App Store, you can access it in your app history and reinstall it from there.
What happens to my existing Black Library Audio App purchases?
You will still be able to access your existing Audio purchases in the Audio App. The Audio App will be removed from App Stores but will remain available on your device if you already have it downloaded. You will also be able to access your past purchases within the new Black Library App by linking your App Store account with your MyWarhammer Account. Log in to the Audio App on your device to link your accounts.
Can I still access my old Black Library Audio App content if I change phones?
Yes. Any previously downloaded in-App purchases are tied to your Apple/Google account. You will need to access your app history and reinstall the app from there. You will also be able to access these from the new Black Library App if you link your accounts before changing phones. Log in to the Audio App now to link your account.
When will the Black Library Audio App be removed from the App Store?
The Black Library Audio App will be removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store at 10:00am (BST) on 31st August 2026. Even after this date, the Black Library Audio App will remain on your device with all of your downloads.
I’m having difficulty downloading a file I purchased in the Black Library Audio app. What can I do?
If you have difficulty downloading a file you purchased in the Black Library Audio app, please Contact Us for further assistance.
I have deleted the Black Library Audio app and now all the audio titles I purchased have disappeared.
Simply click "Restore All Purchases" within the Audio App and this will reinstate your past purchases. You can also link your App Store and MyWarhammer accounts within the Audio App to transfer your past purchases to the new Black Library App.
